Stock Market Expert: Shares Will Be Able To Buy Futures Trading At 11.55 Pm

According to The Stock Market Expert, Good news for investors. Market regulator SEBI has allowed domestic stock exchanges to increase the time of trading in equity futures transactions. The regulator has increased trading time in this segment till 11.55 pm. This decision will be effective from October 1, 2018. However, only after the approval of SEBI will the business time be extended.

With this step, SEBI has opened the way for trading in equity derivatives segment from 9 am to 11.55 pm. It commenced on the lines of commodity derivative trading. Trading in commodity futures trading starts from 10 am to 11.55 pm.

Stock Market Expert has said that this step has been taken to bring uniformity in all the segments of the stock market. This step will provide exchanges the convenience of their work. SEBI said that if the stock exchanges intend to increase the trading hours from existing trading hours, then the approval will be obtained from the regulator first. For this, they have to submit a detailed proposal.

In this proposal, the exchange has to provide information about risk management, disposal process, monitoring of positions, availability of human resources, system capacity and surveillance system. Earlier in December, the regulator had announced the integration of stock and commodity trading on a single exchange from October. This move cleared the way for launching its own commodity trading platform for stock exchanges such as BSE and NSE.
